#boycottchina
this woman isnt newsworthy.
next....
"something something eco-warrior, look how much silk I'm wearing that some kids in China produced for less than minimum wage" ~Vivienne "not-for-profit" Westwood.
She looks like the girl from Brave did 20 years of meth.
Tell me again why this woman thinks she's a good person to dictate what looks good.
You're comparing Vivienne Westwood to A&F? Just wow O_o
On topic: Her London label is marketed to younger customers — she shows her main collection in Paris, like most decent British designers. She's actually doing London a favour by associating her name with a fashion capital that's otherwise known for bland and commercially questionable brands. Moreover, she has always used her shows as a medium for political expression, so it's not exactly something new.
PS The self-appointed fashion connoisseurs ITT are cracking me up.
You all should've sent Mel Gibson a gift basket or something back in 1980.

"This will be a fight against overwhelming odds from which survival cannot be expected. We will do what damage we can."
-- Capt. Copeland
Unless everything she stands for is communism, I don't see how her political stance is incompatible with her success in the industry. One can be a successful businesswoman and still criticise the short-sighted financially driven policies of Westminster as undemocratic and outdated.
Gen-OT is a nexus of sartorially-challenged gays, who knew?
I don't think satire means what think it does
Look at that second picture. I don't believe her, she's a double agent. She actually wants people to vote NO.
Or something like that.
Seeing that second picture with the woman with the tread mark on her face invalidates anything Vivienne says IMO.
That's not fashion, that's a fucking travesty.
Tikki tikki tembo, Usagi no Yojimbo, chari bari ruchi pip peri pembo!
Anyone hating England is a lost cause in my eyes.
#Anglophile.
Sylphen is just a fashion student who thinks we "don't get it" right? I don't believe people could lap up the shit Vivienne Westwood spouts on the regs without being an artsy 2deep3u type. Back in the real world, nobody wears fine silk curtains to tea to preach on a pedestal about "issues", like how capitalism is the root of evil, all the while exploiting the cheap labour the fashion industry is built on for maximum profit.
She's a hypocrite, deal with it.
