    Is this against the ToS?

Having an addon that will automatically accept any queue pop of LFR and LFD??

So for instance you are afk, in the bathroom, making a sandwich, picking up your daughter from soccer practice, doing laundry, or any other number of things, you will always accept and get in to any LFR / LFD you queue up for.

I couldn't find anything in the TOS that would indicate that an addon like this would be illegal.

It is a bot that does actions for you. It may be a small action but I am pretty sure it would not be allowed.

It is also rude to the people you are doing the instance with because now you're in but AFK.

It is against the rules, but let's be honest with all the more major Bots in WoW such a simple one is not going to get you into any trouble. Likely they will never even catch it.

Pretty sure they made that a protected function so yes.

If you can do it with an addon: It's legal until Blizzard decides to break that functionality.
It is, however illegal to do it with a macro, bot, or whatever else.

WoW is filled with bots. It's not uncommon to join a bg and have half your team follow the exact same pixel-perfect patrol route. Blizzard just don't act.

I would not be even the slightest bit concerned about such an addon, while LFR, BGs, LFD etc continue to be infested with bots.

It is not possible for an addon to do this, so yes it would be against the ToU, because it would require a third party program that runs outside of WOW to do (ie, a bot).

I think there should be an option in the game that does this, and also kick you if you're not there in another 2 minutes. Too many times I had to jump from the toilet to not miss the fucking TANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I've been waiting for 45+ minutes.

Pretty sure that if an addon can do it it doesn't count as bot.

Having to even ask shows you know it is questionable at best.
How long should you be allowed to afk then once in said group?
Big difference between bathroom, making sandwich or getting drink versus picking up kid.
Is it fair for the said group to have to deal with/ carry your afk toon?
I think not and wouldn't want an addon to do this afking is bad enough as is now.
With an addon like that one could que and go to work or sleep and get all the gear, valor or whatever dungeon or raid dropped.
That would make Lfd or lfr intolerable because you know people would abuse it.

This is what im talking about, several times if I were there 30 sec earlier, I wouldn't have had to wait another 8-40 minutes for a new queue pop.

Actually that's not true, I knew someone who got banned for botting because they set up a bunch of repeating/looping macros on a Logitech G19. They usually do NOT give a warning for this type of thing either, generally speaking it's a permaban on the first offense. Investigations take time, so just because someone did something and got away with it for a few days doesn't mean a ban isn't forthcoming.

It is NOT possible for an addon to click that button. It's a protected function. The OP is talking about using a bot.

Yes, that is against the ToS.

Any automated system to replaced player interaction is considered breaking of ToS. It can be catagorized as a botting tool accepting and just standing there while others does the content.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

    Im not so sure.

I don't understand how a simple function like accepting a queue pop would be considered botting? When you have addons that automatically dispel players, addons that show where Malkorok put his breath, addons that automatically heals when you mouse over a player, etc.

If you have to ask yourself this question is probably not the right thing to do.

You still have to click a button to perform those actions.

I would actually love for WoW to have a bring-to-front popup option, so I can queue, tab out.but Wow would be forced to the screen when a queue pops. like leauge
