So read this opinion article on cnn and wanted to see what our scholars here at mmo-champ think about it. Basically is it ok for pregnant women to hunt? This woman is doing so at 7 months.

Probably not the safest way to be pregnant. Why take any risks?
Some people like killing creatures for sport, aka lulz, so why not?
If you're killing animals for fun, fuck you. For food/by-products, in a sustainable eco-system, go nuts.
It's okay for pregnant women to do whatever. You don't get to draw a line and say "anything more dangerous than this, you're not allowed to do" because it's no one's right except the lady who is pregnant to decide where that line should be drawn.
Either you lock up pregnant women in padded rooms so they can't possibly endanger themselves or their unborn child for the whole 9 months, or you get off their dick. Either or. And since locking up pregnant women is ridiculous, then we just need to stop policing them like we have any say in what she does with her body. I mean, it makes no sense to allow someone to terminate a pregnancy, but not allow them to do something that MIGHT terminate a pregnancy?
Is it SENSIBLE? I dunno, if it's done safely, probably okay.
More than bullets and gun problems, I'd just be concerned about firing off extremely loud rifle rounds right next to your pregnant self. Would probably be wise to wear plenty of padding around the belly, but then I'm not really sure how well insulated the womb would be from sound.
Then again, I try to be a sensible person and know better than to try and make this a debate about hunting itself or some bullshit like that, but I know plenty of folks on this forums won't be able to restrain themselves.
I'm guessing it should be okay as long as you're not bracing the rifle against your bump.
I don't see why not. Its just walking in the woods. To ask this is basically to ask should pregnant women go on nature hikes.
READ and be less Ignorant.
I'll have to agree with what the doctor said in the article: "Is it necessary?"
Cock? um, sure.
Let me rephrase the question so that the answer is more obvious:
Is it ok for <insert adult> to hunt while they <insert condition>?
Answer: Yes.
Lots of stuff you can do while pregnant, not like hunting requires heavy physical exertion. Being physically active (even working out) is actually recommended while pregnant.
Only problem could be the sound from the gun I guess? Fuck knows.. But if the fetus is in water inside your body inside clothes, you'd have to use a pretty damn loud weapon for it to do anything.
Pretty much this, seems perfectly fine, it's not like women were completely helpless while pregnant pre-civilization.
Most doctors advise against activities that may pose a higher risk of falling and that is about it. Aside from scuba diving most activities are safe so long as you aren't causing trauma to your abdomen
You're on the right track, but still off base. The fetus doesn't have developed ears generally until EXTREMELY late term.
That said, I'd be concerned about the fact that the fetus is super soft and delicate. The reverberations of a gunshot are powerful. I mean, you probably wouldn't want to have a jet aircraft take off next to your pregnant belly either, right?
