You know who they are! Those guys who either use a 10 year old picture, believe us to be idiots, have user names like bob1981 who is actually 42 or guys that outright lie! It's something I never understand because surely the lie will be revealed upon meeting or camming. I can't be the only one that encounters this online? I personally don't mind age too much, my range is usually 20-45 but I can't stand deception

Thread title should be "Guys that lie piss me off."
I honestly don't get it. Guys and girls...if you are online with the intent of meeting someone for more than a one night stand why on EARTH would you lie and deceive the person to try to manipulate them into meeting. At some point, if you get what you supposedly want, you are going to have to fess up and that's going to create tons of problems.
Why not just be who you are and recognize that someone who rejects you for who you are isn't someone you want to meet anyway?

Sometimes people are just insecure, or fear that they'll get bullied for their age. Now, when I was about 9-10 years old I used to say I was 15 in order to not get people to be mean to me. Yeah, at the time I cared a lot more about what people on the internet thought of me... but nowadays I'm a perfectly normal 30-year old with wife and kids and Volvo and house and everything. No need to be insecure anymore at all.
