Upgrade for WOD, need some advice.

Hi everyone. I'm looking to upgrade my Radeon 5770 1 GB for WOD, as it seems it is below the recommended spec of either 5870 or GTX 470.

My current specs are: Gigabyte H87 MB, Intel I5 4440@3.1 GHZ, 8 GB Crucial Balistix 1600 mhz RAM, 24 inch screen. Seasonic 520W Bronze PSU and a 5770 Ati Radeon 1 GB. The GPU is old as I didn't upgrade it, and there is an offer on a local website for an ASUS GTX 760 Direct CU 2 GB for around 215 EUR, which is around 20% off of its normal price. I know a new series of Nvidia cards is due soon, hence the discounts but from what I understand the 960 GTX will be around the 300 EUR mark when it arrives next month, and I'd rather not spend that much if the 760 GTX is up to the job of playing WoD in 1920x1080 on high details.

Basically my question is if my specs together with a 760 GTX are enough to play WoD on 1920x1080 on high details and get 40 +/- 5 fps in 25 man raids. Do you think it's enough to perform well or shall I wait and pony up the difference for a 960 GTX? Is my CPU,RAM and PSU enough? Should I be thinking of upgrading those as well? Nvidia says 500w PSU is recommended for 760 GTX, anything more and I'd need a more powerful PSU. I bought the CPU, MB, RAM and PSU last year. Anyone here with a similar configuration?

    Thanks in advance.

Considering the 970 isn't even 300 euros, I wouldn't expect the 960 to be that much either. If you don't mind spending around 270 euros, the 970 is one hell of a beast for gaming, but if you ONLY play WoW then it is kind of a waste. I'd honestly stick around for the 960 models though rather than cave on the 760. Likely going to be around the same price, more powerful, and more power efficient than it's 760 counterpart.

Unfortunately in my country the 970 GTX is around 400 EUR, it's a bit more than I'm willing to spend. I was told the 960 will be around the 300-320 EUR mark when it arrives next month, I only play WoW and occasionally Civilization 5, don't have time for gaming like I used to.

Do you think my specs + a 760GTX will play WoW well enough?

Ah didn't realize the price was increased for your country, but yes the 760 is more than enough for WoW. Only thing that could be improved past that is the CPU, but with WoD shifting from CPU reliance a little bit more onto GPU supposedly and the GPU is still your most needed upgraded regardless.

The biggest downside to your CPU is the 3.1Ghz clock speed with the inability to overclock, but the single core performance of your CPU is suppose to be on par with my 2500k at stock speeds, which I've raided 25 mans just fine on even without the overclocking.
