Ryos keyboard Easy-Shift...

So I'm having a bit of trouble with my new Roccat Ryos keyboard... Mainly the fact that I seem unable to use the Easy-Shift button as a modifier, or indeed as a key at all. Nothing registers when I'm pushing it at all, for example, I tried making it my Mumble PTT key, and it didn't register. I try binding ES - 1 to a spell in WoW, and it registers to 1, completely ignoring the Easy-Shift part. I've updated drivers, and in the Ryos Driver control panel, it has been set to use Easy-Shift. It works normally if I set it to act as a Caps Lock key.

Would appreciate any help with this, really wanna get full use of this fancypants keyboard
