Question Curious about the DPS on my rogue

    Hey
So rather recently I swapped to playing my rogue as an alt, which is kinda awesome actually.
I just got the legendary cloak on it, and did a few raids, now the question is, I tunnelvisioned on Blackfuse for pure dps (no comments it was a really good grp).
And I hitted 281k dps, which isnt that bad for my gear I think(557), considering that according to shadowcraft I should hit 290k.
Now for the real question, I compared how my damage was distributed compared to some HC raiding rogues, and mine seems rather off?
First of all, here is my armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...Fuush/advanced
Now here is the WoL of the one I compared with: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/r...?s=2097&e=2231
(Yes it is not the same fight, and I did 10 not 25man)
But the funny thing is, if you notice his damage distribution compared to mine:

(Now, no comments on the UI please, people thinks its messy, but I like it )
As you can see his evisc do far more damage than his Deadly Poison, where mine is completely reversed? (Not number wise, but percentage wise) - Im following this guide to the letter: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/10302000393
Which is one my HC raiding friend gave me.

TLDR: Why are my damage distribution in raids far off compared to professional raiding rogues? Just scaling or am I doing something wrong? Check pictures for clarification.

Thanks alot for reading, hope someone have an idea whats wrong

Were you using a dagger in that log by any chance? I also reocommend switching to WarcraftLogs.

Nope, I was using the exact same gear as you see in my armory

Scaling. Main Gauche starts being your highest damage source on single-targets as you get into the 580+ range.

    For example: http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/...one&source=270

You'll also have less Eviscerate damage because you have less CP generation due to lower haste.

comparing a 25man hm raid to a 10man normal isn't going to give you an accurate accounting for damage done by what spells, especially comparing a screen shot of skada to a wol. you do mare damage in 25mans than in 10 not to mention the diff in gear. best thing to do is caompare your wol to another wol from another rogue with similar ilvl. Also 25man fights do not last as long as 10mans.(most of the time)

That isn't really a 10 vs 25 thing. Its that was a 2 minute kill he was comparing to which means significantly higher uptime on cooldowns.

#Sesshou, well you got a point there with the CDs
#pentavelant, I agree to disagree, yes the gear is a difference - which is why I mentioned the percentage of the damage. Tho we still had a good physical dps setup, with the correct debuffs available
