Great point. Bull fighting is animal abuse for sure. Should have banned it there years ago. How anyone can say dog fighting is bad and yet not think bull fighting is, needs to stop and consider the hypocrisy involved.

Bullfighting is slowly being phased out. Eventually the traditionalists will cave in to a more modern and humane outlook. Barcelona used to be huge on bullfighting, but they have outlawed it. Only a matter of time...

Their usage is indeed forbidden in Germany, it falls directly under article 4: (1) Vertebrates may be killed only under anaesthetic or painlessly where reasonable under the circumstances. and might be punishable with prison time considering article 17.
