    I have never payed anyone to be around me for any reason. I could however see the desperation ( I have been in some dark places in my life). However anytime that thought remotely came into my head it instantly was followed with the fact that I would feel worse knowing they didn't actually want to be around me. It's like knowing your partner is with you for your money, how can you possible feel good about doing anything with another person who isn't there for you?
