OK, let's not say "cleaning up after Obama", as that wouldn't be specific enough.
Will it be ISIS?
Healthcare?
Education?
Immigration?
The economy?
Vladimir Putin?
Something else?
Let's hear what you have to say.

Congress...
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning.

Presidents deal with most foreign stuff so I'll say ISIS and Putin.

"This will be a fight against overwhelming odds from which survival cannot be expected. We will do what damage we can."
-- Capt. Copeland
The biggest challenge for a President will be dealing with every single one of those things but doing it without pissing off everybody in the country. Unfortunately, this is impossible. For a President to deal with ANY of those issues they will have to piss off most of the people in the country in the process.
Fortunately for the President's sanity, the President will never have to deal with any of those things because the POTUS will never get the chance to, thanks to our useless Congress.
Congress, again.
Putin khuliyo
That depends on who the President is, what issues the President actually wants to deal with, and what issues the President wants to ignore.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

If they are a democrat...republicans
If they are republican...democrats.
Very few presidents leave the White House on a high note.
Bush43 - left with the housing bubble collapse / credit bubble collapse
Clinton - left with the dotcom bubble bust and the economy burning down in flames which help propel Bush43 into office instead of Gore
Bush41 - got voted out because of a recession
Reagan - actually left on a high note with inflation way down, jobs way up, and the economy is great shape after decades of malaise, plus the USSR on the verge of collapse.
Carter - got voted out in a landslide
Ford - never got voted in, in the first place, wasn't even there that long
Nixon - resigned because of Watergate
LBJ - extremely disliked to the point where he couldn't even run for re-election
Kennedy - assassinated
Eisenhower - Just let the country run itself and didn't make waves
Truman - His peak when we won WWII, kinda came down after that
FDR - died in office
Hoover - voted out in a landslide
Coolidge - went out on a high note, with successor elected president
Harding - died in office
Being happy.
You cared enough to post.
Republicans.

Rincewind: Ah! We may, in fact, have reached the root of the problem. However it's a silly problem and so I am suddenly going to stop talking to you.
