    Gaming Systems Owned

Sorry if this has been done before. Old games thread gave me a dose of nostalgia.

What computers have you owned in your lifetime, and list them in order! For me it is as follows.

Atari XL (Had an XE as well)
    Atari ST
Mega Drive (Had a friend who had a SNES and we would swap them now and again)
    PS
    PS2
    PS3
    Wii
    PS4

Think I got my first PC between PS and PS2.

When i was a kid, my ma had this old ass orange screened PC that she bought for her work at the time, they paid half and it still cost her like 1500$ and the damn thing didnt even have a HDD, only had 2x 5.25 floppy drives. Booted stuff off the A: and saved to B: had some horrible games like Wheel of Fortune and such. My sister pooched that system by jamming 3 floppy discs into one drive and we could never get 2 of them out.

For me personally, i started out with a sega genesis, had all the addons for it; the usless cdrom player + the 32x thing that went on top. Had at least 50 "good" games (used to get 1 game for bday and 1 for xmas almost every year).

    Traded all that plus like 60 bucks for a PS1 w/ FF7.

That was the end of consoles for me, by the time i mastered FF7 and the resident evil games that were out at the time (holy fuck like 1995ish?) I was starting to put together my own pc. My first PC on the (dial-up) internet was a 486 DX-100 with like 150mb of HDD and id guess 8-16mb of ram that I didnt even have a case for, it sat ON cardboard and 4 homemade plastic risers. I used that one until like 1997 when highspeed internet came to my area and they wouldnt install it unless i had a system with a PCI slot, even tho i had a ethernet card of my own that went in the big black slot. So i worked that whole summer to get a pentium 166 with TWO pci slots and like 5 of them long black ones that i cant even remember what they were called. Since then i think i've had only 3 other systems till the one i got now. I tend to build really solid machines that last way longer than they are expected to.

    Yea, nostalgia!

edit: ooo, almost forgot, i had an original GameBoy from the first year they came out (i was the coolest kid on the block for a few months till my friends started getting them) and at some point before high school i also had a GameGear. The GameGear was amazing with its coloured screen vs the monochrome GameBoy, but i recall it sucking the batteries as fast as i could buy them, so it was never really portable having to be plugged in 90% of the time i played it)

Well, the first few systems were not actually mine it was our family.

i386 was the first PC I think
Not sure if it was it or the i486 that I played a lot of Street rod 2 and Commander keen on it.

    Console were

    Sega mega drive
    Xbox
    ps2

I think bought my first PC which was a pentium of some sort after a summer job.
Then upgraded my PC 3-4 times as they can no long play some of the more up to date games.

Wow. Atari ST - the feels and memories. My fucking god - one of the greatest video games of all time was on that system - it was SOOOOOOOO GOOOD. I have no idea what it was called, but I believe you were bruce lee in the game and had to escape this castle/building and had to navigate all of these pits and traps. It was like the whole map was on the screen at once and all tiny graphics... but what a game.

Don't remember when we got our first PC, probably sometime around the SNES era. Grew up on the original Warcraft, Wolfenstein, and Doom. Man, those were the days. I watched an old home movie with the wife the other day of my 6th or 7th birthday when I got my 2600... I said look, that's where it all started!
