    Overclocking help z87x

Hey, I'm currently in need of help overclocking my 4770k on my Z87x mobo. Right now it's been running at stock for about 3 months and I just installed my noctua D15 so I'm ready to do some overclocking! Now I have not done it before and looking at youtube all I could find was a guy who spoke way to fast and didn't cover much at all :/ I'm not looking to overclocking it to an extreme extent, but about the 4,5ghz mark preferably not going above 1.25 volt. I know all this depends on if I got a good chip or not, but that's where I would like to start atleast .

    hi there

OCing shouldnt be that hard if what u want is 4.5ghz shouldnt need a lot of voltage , worst mistake if you want to overclok is not read enough before doing it , because then you are going to be in bios not knowing what to do

this guide should help a bit http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/...locking-guide/

and here some results from ppl so u can get an idea of more less how much voltage u will need https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...=sharing#gid=0
