    The Isle of War [Patch Idea]

    Let begin straight of the bat:

    ""The isle of war is a huge island on the north of Draenor, its size rivals Pandaria. This isle has been mostly peaceful as the Orc haven't discovered it yet, but something is about to change here, factions all around, has been seeking a new place in the world to return to, these factions, are either small, Remnants of other factions, factions that wants even more power or factions that has been crushed and seek to rise to its former glory. The players will have the ability to join a faction, and fight under their banner, securing territory and completing tasks for their masters. Some factions offers awesome and unique rewards to their followers, while other's offers glory and honor. The isle of war is a huge Island never seen before, It's climate is different all over. To the north there is never ending winter, and to the south is hot deserts. Specific factions like to live on specific places depending on their Backstory, for Example, The ramkahen, a proud cat people, would like to live in the south with endless dunes of hot sand, While the sons of Hodir for example likes to stay up in the north where they belong.

    The isle features huge mountains and thight passages, making it dangerous to travel, and the likelyhood of being ambushed by different factions. Each climate has their own effects too. For example, under a sand storm in the south, movement speed will be slightly reduced, and snow storms in north will force you to take shelter, or be frozen in place. The swamps on the island can leave you stuck as it tries to claim you. The native wildlife are dangerous, and should not be trifled with, unless you're a fool and think you can take them head on. Anything on this Island will try to kill you, either be it a faction, or a monster, be weary, and always keep your eyes open for anything on The Isle of War
    ."

    Factions that want's to arise to greatness are these ones:

    The Sons Of Hodir:
    Seeing as hodir was beaten back In ulduar and them having trouble back in northrend, they figured it's a shame of them being beaten everywhere, and they want to move away from all the chaos back him. They want to build a force strong enough to go and destroy every danger back in northrend and claim their rightful place as rules of the storm peaks. The sons of hodir was sent to the Isle of war by direct orders of Hodir himself, telling them that they need more powers. Supporters of this factions helped them by summoning them to the Isle of war, they now will crush any opponent in their way to secure a place on this Isle.

    The Scarlet Crusade:
    These humans has been crushed on multiple occasions by the scourge, yet they never give up. Their homeland known as Lordaeron is shattered and destroyed, and their last salvation is the Isle of thunder. They will construct a fort and train up paladins. When they're done, they will smite the Island and destroy all Necromancers and Scourge, and they will stop at nothing to finish this goal. When they're done with the scourge, they will take on the remaining factions of the Island and conquer the Isle in the name of The Scarlet Crusade!

    Remnants of Lordaeron:
    These humans suffer the same fate as the Scarlet crusade. Their homeland was taken from them. And now they need a new home, the Isle of war looks like a perfect oppertunity to start anew, and let the name of Lordaeron be heard, when they have gotten enough power to rise to glory, they will send all their forces and destroy everything that stands in their way from taking back Lordaeron from the forsaken. They are led by Garithos the 2nd, the son of Garithos, who aimed to control Lordaeron but lost. He is just as hotheaded and racist as his father, and has no love for anything else but the humans of Lordaeron.

    The cult of the Damned:
    Since the fall of the lich king and the destruction of scholomance, these necromancers has found nothing but defeat. When they heard of the new place known as the Isle of war, the had hope of forging a new cult, that would plague all others and destroy all life in their way. They will rebuild their fallen cult and let everyone know that they should fear them. Kel'thuzad has risen since his last defeat in northrend. He tried to contact the lich king but No answer, he then looked up ways to rebuild the cult of the damned and he heard of the Isle. He is accepting anyone who is willing slaugther anything in the name of the Scourge, and the cult of the damned, and with the help he needs, he will destroy anything in his path.

    The Ramkahen:
    The Ramkahen a proud cat people has long waited for glory, but they got none. They have recently made an arrangement with the Tol'vir making them allies, while they do not like each other, they strengthen each other. Since they can't agree on which will control Uldum, the king of the Ramkahen has come up with the deal that they will give the newly found Island of War to the Tol'vir if they lay their hate behind them, and work as a people united. The leader of the Tol'vir agreed and has set out to take the Isle. With the help of their Brothers, the Tol'vir will be successful, or will they?

    The Original Kirin Tor:
    They are also not the only ones that were destroyed by the scourge, the original dalaran was completely destroyed by the scourge, and they had to make their city flying, some however, want's the city to be in its original shape, and put it on the ground, these people are known as The Original Kirin Tor. They want a place to study, and create magic, just like before, not a flying city surrounded by danger. They want a safe haven where they can train aprentices and they will do anything to achieve their goal, if it means destroying all other factions.

    The Yangol:
    The Yangol the descendants of the tauren, has always lived a savage and brutal lifestyle, untill recently, when the pandaren drove them out from their own home, when they in fact only defended what they already had. They now burn for vengance towards the pandaren and hate them more than anything they know of. They are willing to sacrifice anything if it even if it goes as far to sacrifice themselves to the fire elementals. The warriors of ordos, has allied themselves with the fire elemental, and has turned Ordos into the new firelord, Ordos commands the Fire elemental and the Yangols, to work together to take over the Isle of war. However, they only accept members who are willing to sacrifice anything to destroy the pandaren.

    Iron Fist Clan:
    The native Ogre's also known as the Iron fist's are native to the Island, and belong there, they believe that the island belongs to them and none others, their numbers are great, and is the greatest faction on the island, as they have been there the longest, however, they're not particullary smart. Their warchief Olgoosh, wants to make sure that all outsiders are crushed and dealt with. When they're done with that, they'll make the surviors of the remaining factions, slaves and begin to construct a city.

    The Iron Horde:
    The Iron horde is the rightful leaders of Draenor, they are both native species and conquerers. They will stop at nothing to destroy all invaders and they will do anything to do so. They recently discovered this island, and want to take it over, however, most of their forces are down fighting the Alliance and Horde. To join them, you'll have to get an orc disgue, and look like one of them, as they hate anyone but orcs. The orcs on azeroth are not accepted either as they have drunk demon blood and are traitors in their eyes. Will the Iron Horde Succseed?

    Zandalar Tribe:
    The trolls of the Zandalar gave all their powers to the thunder king in order to succssed, however, they weren't quite successful. Most of their kind got destroyed in the siege of the throne of thunder, and have very little to spare, they aim to take over the isle to start anew. They have gathered all the remaining troll tribes aswell, to help them, the sandfury, the Amani, the Drakari, and the Gurubashi. There is a slight problem for them... There are other factions that would like to see them dead, and they will kill many of them, but the Zandalar are not fools, and won't give up unless untill every last one of them is dead.

    This is the Basic concept of the Isle of War, It's pretty much: Factions that wants to aspire to greatness, and players have the option to choose who they want to fight for. I might add more later. Excuse Bad grammar aswell, I'm to lazy to run everything trough a spell check.

    So basically, all of Azeroth's races want to go on a war against each other just for a bit of land on another planet, instead of just wanting to take a bit of land neighboring their own.

    Sounds like a crazy party.

    P.S.: I'd like to see Murlocs added to the list.

    I like the general idea, but the lore is bad. It needs to be factions that actually make sense, and should probably have ones we've never met before.

    But the concept of a massive 10-way warzone is cool. Although it needs to serve an actual purpose.

    Well I have some Idea of the Purpose, not quite yet: You pick a faction you want to support, then you help them, they will ask for materials and stuff to help them build up buildings. They will also want you to siege and go to war against others, this will earn you reputation. With reputation you can buy powerful gear, toy's, trinkets, etc. Honor gains are increased on the Isle aswell. PVP is on even on PVE realms.
