Hmm lets go with hypernova, if it was to be in a battle it would suck to die by another humans hands so id rather die fighting something like the zerg.
Standing ones ground as swarms of deadly alien insects raid your position, trying to take as many of them with you as possible.

    Sudden cardiac death seems alright.

My grandfather plans on running until that happens when he feels like it's his time to go, I'm not sure that will work though.
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

Lo, there do I see my father. 'Lo, there do I see...

My mother, and my sisters, and my brothers.

    Lo, there do I see...

    The line of my people...

    Back to the beginning.

Lo, they do call to me.

They bid me take my place among them.

    In the halls of Valhalla...

    Where the brave...

    May live...

    ...Forever.

Getting crushed by a 50 ton boulder, I imagine death would be more or less instantaneous.

I was kidding about the Snu Snu thing, sometimes I fantasize about a gruesome painful death, but when I truly fear for my life, I honestly want to go in my sleep. Just go to bed and never wake up again kinda thing.

In the least painful way possible. Preferably after my partner so they don't have to mourn me.

Similar to the way my dad did recently (age 81)... relaxed in his recliner, magazine in lap, fell asleep, didn't wake up.

Only health issue at the time was a 'slight cold', which turned out was mild pneumonia, which caused him to stop breathing when he fell asleep.

I entirely plan on choosing. When I get too old to work right, I'll just go skydiving and unclip the chute.

I want to punch a meteor, or a bear. They were talking about bears on the radio this morning and fighting a bear seems like a pretty manly way to go.

Just let me die in my sleep or shoot a bullet through my head so I'm dead ASAP, without suffering.
"This is no swaggering askari, no Idi Amin Dada, heavyweight boxing champion of the King's African Rifles, nor some wide shouldered, medal-strewn Nigerian general. This is an altogether more dangerous dictator - an intellectual, a spitefull African Robespierre who has outlasted them all." - The Fear: Robert Mugabe and the martyrdom of Zimbabwe, Peter Godwin.
