6.0.2 Last Minute Hot Fix

[Lulbalance]

for those of you still deciding what to (re)roll:

Death Knight
Obliterate damage increased by 8%.
Scourge Strike, Death Coil, and Festering Strike damage reduced by 5%.
Blood Boil and Death Strike damage increased by 20%.
Druid
Lacerate, Mangle, Maul, and Pulverize damage increased by 5%.
Hunter
Black Arrow, Explosive Shot, and Serpent Sting damage increased by 12%.
Mage
Arcane Blast, Arcane Barrage, and Arcane Missiles damage reduced by 5%.
Supernova damage reduced by 15%.
Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Inferno Blast, Pyroblast, Frostbolt, Ice Lance, Frozen Orb, Waterbolt, and Water Jet damage increased by 5%.
Monk
Rising Sun Kick and Fists of Fury damage increased by 10%.
Chi Explosion (Brewmaster) damage reduced by 30%.
Paladin
Avenger’s Shield, Consecration, Holy Wrath, and Shield of the Righteous damage increased by 5%.
Priest
Mind Blast, Mind Spike, and Mind Flay damage increased by 10%.
Shaman
Chain Lightning mana cost reduced by 43%.
Rogue
Assassin’s Resolve now increases damage by 10% (down from 15%).
Ambush and Backstab damage increased by 13%.
Warlock
Agony and Unstable Affliction damage reduced by 10%.
Warrior
Raging Blow damage reduced by 10%.
Wild Strike damage reduced by 8%.
Devastate, Revenge, and Shield Slam damage increased by 5%.

Probably a hotfix for lv90, since demo is all about demonbolt on lv100. That said, the bigest buffs have been received by frost DKs, and I have too much self respect to play one. Probably affly/shadow/arcane again for me.

Huh, yeah seems like something temporary just to level things out until we can get to 100 where the new stuff is balanced for. Hopefully they remember to revert the changes on WoD launch if this is indeed the case. :S

yea i actually agree with you. i dont think they balance for the pre - xpac level at all. All focus is on max level and probably has been for a while.

Do you remember when cata pre-patch hit and you could stack crit up to like 70% on rogues and fire mages? (i remember this because i was playing fire...was the most fun thing ever). my point is.. they gave 0 f*cks - lol, and that was insanity... this is 5-10%.

I would rather have more balance at max lvl and one completely whacky month now than the other way around. Anything for "the greater good".
