Topic, so my dks transmog weapon, the Claymore of ancient power http://www.wowhead.com/item=39393 got an updated model in the 6.0.2 disaster patch, which changed the color of this weapon from great looking purple:

to fucking disgusting shyte, that doesnt fit my characters xmog at all, which prior to this was looking amazing (i dont give a shit that its a common set or whatever)

Seems like the original model screenshot was taken in a very bright area, as opposed to the darker area of Acherus, show some screens of it in bright zone as original.

Having a temper tantrum on a third party website doesn't help anything. Submit a bug report and do so without the 'world is ending' stuff.

But apparently that one has been changed since 2010, so I don't know, maybe they finally fixed the Ancient Power on and the one you enjoyed was the bugged one.
From its WoWhead page.Very oddly, this item got a model update. Not sure why this specific sword got an update, but it is longer, darker, and alot more detailed. The lvl 80 "copy" of this that they put in the WOTLK version of Naxxramas didnt get an update, it was just made longer, which is very odd since that one is still obtainable and this one has been unobtainable since the release of WOTLK. Ill put a picture of the new model on wowhead.
