    Annnd we blow.

"Sudden Death (Arms) Your autoattack hits have a 20% 10% chance to make your next Execute cost no initial Rage, consume no extra Rage, and be usable on any target, regardless of health level."
"Sudden Death (Fury, Protection) Your autoattack hits have a 20% 10% chance to make your next Execute cost no initial Rage and be usable on any target, regardless of health level."

Warrior (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator)
    Fury
Bloodthirst, Raging Blow, and Wild Strike damage has been reduced by 17%.

So..who else wants to kill themselves..?

A single hit to a talent thats preforming above the alternatives, and current reductions to Fury damage, whcih seems to be in the range of... ~8% damage nerf?

You are overblowing a simple change.

Unless you played on the PTR/Beta you never even got to experience the 20% sudden death.

Except that 10% SD is just a tooltip change, we've been playing with 10% SD since the patch.

Meh, I've been using Unquenchable Thirst anyway. It's better for PvP.

Sudden Death has been 10% for days now and I'm pretty sure when I raided mythic I already had the nerfs active because my server has crashed a couple times this weekend and was still top 3 with less than 5 hours of raid experience as a dps warrior.

    I think we're okay.

Only those of us that have Beta experienced 20% Sudden Death. You never did. It was 10% at launch, this is a tooltip fix.
ill probably be infracted for this post

These hotfixes have been live for several days, and were warranted (if you even give a crap about temporary level 90 balance). SD has been 10% the whole time. If you're going to complain about something, complain about the new designs of fury and especially arms being dogshit to play.

or how people overreact when seeing a number change without checking context or without even reading the top text that says "these are tooltip fixes"

  12. #12
As Nenwavriana said, all of these changes have been in place for several days. When read, the mind over inflates it, makes it seem like a bigger deal than it is. In reality, if you hadn't read the change, you absolutely would not notice the difference in game.

Including the last round of nerfs (10% additional reduction to said abilities), Fury lost a combined total of about 3k DPS. The spec is still on top in every sense of the word.

No-one, because everyone who pays attention knew about them already and knew that we were already playing with them. Only the notes were updated last night.

One does not claim to be a warrior and dual-wield 1-handers, no matter if the dmg boost is significant.

I disagree. If you're Fury, I just imagine you picking up whatever is handy and smacking people with it.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.

I would agree, if it meant picking up a Dwarf or Gnome to beat things down, but certainly not a 1-handed axe/mace/sword!

Except, you know, that's exactly how it was done from launch of the game until Wrath of the Lich King.
