    Launcher problems

I'm having a very weird launcher problem, where it says I have 1 more file to download, gets to about 26MB downloaded, then suddenly the speed goes from 10MBs to 0.00KBs, and it is recurring no matter what I do, I've tried to look for a solution on other sites but nothing from what they said helped.
I've tried flushing dns then registering and using the Google DNS, tried changing the language and it actually downloaded a few files (let's say I started getting stuck on 8 files, after the 3 language changes it got to 1 file).
I even tried repair, and when that didn't work, a re-install.
So did anyone ever encounter such a weird launcher problem like this before? and if so, how did you solve it?

Have you tried to just close the launcher and let it try again? This solved the issue for many people (including myself). It's possible you have to do this 2-3 times. And it's very common, so don't worry. Fat chance it's not a big issue.

If this doesn't solve it, I'd suggest to try the GW2 forums. We're not exactly the right people who could help you with technical support 8D

I did, I've been trying to solve it for a few days now.
on the forums I won't find any help because they'll just suggest to reinstall and nothing useful.
I've checked on their forums but there isn't anything on this

Try flushing your DNS or setting your DNS provider to Google.

If that doesn't fix it, put in a support ticket.

    Appears you're not alone with this specific issue. It never happened before that so many people have this o-o;
I've also seen this on Reddit and I don't know what provider you've got it was typical they all had Verizon or Varizon, dunno what it's called. Do you have this maybe?

Edit: Karizee already linked it I see. Yeah, Verizon.
    Edit2:
This worked for some people, maybe worth to try:
    "1. Close the Gw2.exe.
    2. Install and run spotflux.
    3. Executing Gw2.exe complete the remaining downloads.
    4. Quit spotflux running.
    5. Rerun the Gw2.exe to login. And games.
Download spotflux are on the Web.
I’ve solved the problem with this job."

Also someone suggested changing your network connection, from cable to wifi.
It's a simple and stupid thing, but it actually worked for some people.

I hope anything works for you, good luck. Sucks it's not working for you.
