GvG Card Reveal and Speculation Thread

Hello, I don't know if I've actually stumbled upon a thread for this but I wouldn't mind seeing this thread expand for the new card reveal choices that are coming out in the next few days or so!




These are the two choices for November 17th, I suspect that the Shaman card may be some sort of healing card? (Healing Rain) or it could be Ascension given the artwork, I think Shamans could use a heal card though.

As for the Druid card, I remember people speculating that this is another transformation card and how you can now become a Treant, I think that could be pretty cool too!

What do you think these new cards will add to the meta and what do you think they will do?

My first thought on the Druid card is it's an Ancient. So far there's Ancient of Lore and Ancient of War, so if they're basing cards on the Night Elf buildings in Warcraft 3 then it might be Tree of Life, Tree of Ages, or Tree of Eternity based on the artwork.

Agreed that Shamans could use a healing card, but it seems more likely this one would be Ascension given the artwork. If they did a Shaman heal it would almost certainly be Chain Heal I think given how iconic it is plus the interesting random effect it could have.

As far as effects go, there's no way to tell simply based on the artwork and then the conjectures about what the names would be.

It almost looks like an "Ancient of Wind" from Warcraft 3, aside from the purple orbs. If it is a tree of life/ages/eternity, perhaps those are wisps around it lol.

As to Shaman / Druid cards:
Druid card's artwork comes from TCG (http://wowpedia.org/Elderlimb). IMO, it's Tree of Life Form like Priest's Shadowform. And purple things are lanterns, not Wisps :P
Shaman's art is titled Ancestors' Call (in the leak you can find on Reddit via Google) so it's most likely a Totem related spell (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=66843/c...-the-ancestors). However I like my theory about it being Ascendance (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=114049).

I won't give the link to the leak because Blizzard asked Hearthpwn (that is brother of MMO-Champ) to remove it.

It's a picture of a dude standing in the rain. Logical conclusion is Healing Rain.

It looks more like ray of light to me. It would also make more sense than rain inside crystal cavern, wouldn't it? xD
