New build using some parts already own.

So the last build I planned to do fell apart due to my car breaking down and causing very expensive repairs.

So, using some parts of my old build, I'm looking on what to go for.

    Budget: £1000
Resolution: 2560 x 1440 (Based on getting 27 inch Asus PG278Q monitor which is seperate from this budget)
Games: BF4, WoD, Battlefield Hardline, Crysis 3, Diablo 3... a load of random games on Ultra settings preferably
Any other software: Will be dabbling in Sony Vegas editing and some streaming. Nothing professional but would be nice to stream in higher quality.
    Country: England
Parts that can be reused: Liquid Cooler H80i, XFX pro 850w (Will eventually change to modular, but right now want things built and used), Zalman Z11 case, Blu ray and dvd drive, Already have a WD blue storage drive, but do want a 250gb+ SSD for OS and main games (so perhaps a Samsung Evo?)
OS: Yes, would like Windows 8.1
Peripherals: Don't need any... as I said above I am buying a 27 inch Asus PG278Q monitor seperate from this budget, as it's on buy now pay later deal.

So I guess with this budget I'm looking towards just opinion on GPU, guessing 980 to put the monitor to good use? Is it still a case of Gigabyte GPUs are best due to cooling? CPU, motherboard, SSD and RAM? I also have a Steelseries Wireless H headset, so would like if the motherboard can give good sound towards that... although I'm far from being an audiophile.

Also prefer ordering from places that do next day delivery. If budget allows it I may buy a PSU that is modular, but I DON'T want to sacrifice ANY performance for it.

    Thanks in advance!

You may want to go for a 980 for SLI 970 build that kostatto suggested due to the monitor. 144Hz at 2560x1440 is a lot to demand from your machine.
Otherwise, yeah the 1st is a great one.

I think due to the monitor the GTX 980 will be a minimum then? So add that to the first and stick to 256gb SSD and perhaps buy the PSU another day?
Could the 980 handle the monitor resolution decently?
