Cheapest possible build for only playing WoW.

How much do you think a machine to play just only WoW on max settings with 100fps+ will cost now days?

Im talking here about absolutely min-maxing the hell out of the COST and PERFORMANCE just for WoW.

Trying to keep WoW above 100FPS especially on 25m raid content with ultra settings is actually pretty hard. I haven't tested with the new CMAA and you probably only need to consider 20m raiding now (it may be a little easier) but still I wouldn't expect to do it very cheaply at all.

Pentium G3258 overclocked is the best budget CPU for WoW(arguably the best in general), though no CPU will run at 100+ fps constantly and you will see dips below 60(even below 30) in highly populated areas & raids.
As for the GPU, currently the 750ti is(arguably) the best budget option for WoW, though i'm not sure if that still applied in WoD.

A basic complete hardware setup(tower only) would run around $500, depending on sales and availability.

Throw in a OS & peripherals and that jumps up another ~$200.

Just to be clear, you will not get a steady 60+ fps with any hardware in WoW, it is simply not possible with the current engine.

Living near a microcenter can knock 100 bucks or more off a build, especially if your willing to go with some refurb parts (which is completely acceptable for a bottom dollar budget build).
