    BrM buff 11/13/14

    Did anyone see the latest patch notes? I noticed this while waiting in my 3000+ Illidan queue:

    Brewmaster
    Stance of the Sturdy Ox now increases armor by 75% (up from 50%), and reduces magic damage taken by 15% (up from 10%).


    I wasn't complaining just yet, but I'll take it!

    Yep saw it last night actually. Already updated in SimC. Actually spooked the other Devs since they didn't see the hotfixes yet.

    Likewise, wasn't planning to cry just yet before testing everything live but a buff is always welcome!

    On a side note I have a silly question - does this mean we effectively gain more armor out of Bonus Armor stat as well? Or does this only affect base armor on gear?

    I believe it would only affect base armor on gear? Idk, to also affect bonus armor seems a little much to me, but would welcome it lol

    It should NOT affect bonus armor. The modifier listed for the spell modifies base resistance physical which is regular armor. Bonus armor is only added onto armor after all armor modifiers are taken into account.
