Some bosses seem to have no drops, people cant greed/pass on items I need and they dont want or already have.
Sorry but not gonna spend 4 days tanking normals for nothing. trying 2 get to ilvl610...

It was a promising expansion Blizz, shame I paid for 2 months

If you do a dungeon with with a premade group the loot system is set to need before greed if you use the looking for group tool the loot system uses personal loot but Blizzard have recently increased the drop rate in normals

The overall chance of getting an upgrade is basically the same. Though it is perceived as less because you do not see *other* items not for your class drop.
If you're a warrior change these situation with the equivalent pre patches where all the bosses were dropping mails
Or if you were a Hunter all the bosses were dropping intellect items so nothing for you either.

Same things, is just that the fact that you do not see two or three drop *in general* does alter the perception so that it seems that you're dropping less than before

You have to remember something too though. Previously a boss would usually only drop 1 item. You would see it even if it wasn't your spec. Now it just goes to the person. if all 5 people aren't getting anything then there's a problem. Otherwise it's not

At any rate, form up your own 5 man, switch to loot system of your choice and voilà, all is well. Even easier since you're a tank.

Sounds like you just got unlucky. I ran 4 heroics and got an upgrade out of everyone. Even had 3 items from in 1 of them. They were all pug groups.

When was the drop rate increased? I ran skyreach and everbloom yesterday got nothing from either. Just curious if they increased the drops before I ran those and just got bad RNG, or if I ran those before the increase. I’d love to start working on heroics

Did 4 Heroics yesterday. Netted 1 item per instance in the first 3. Then, landed 1 item on each boss in my last one (with 4 bosses total).

RNG sucks. On another note, I don't enjoy the new dungeon looting system. Its so removed. I'm in a group, but I really only care about myself. Much dislike.

I just would like to be able to pass on or trade repeated items I have or items i do not want. I seems very, very logical for me for some reason.

Welcome to the system that was introduced to combat random dbags which in my experience are a minority. Another sad case of a minority ruining the experience of a majority and the game getting design around that minority.

It sucks that you didn't get a drop in the normals. Get a group together manually to run them and stop using LFG. Lets see, you can do all the quests in Nagrand and spires of arak for decent level gear at a chance for high level gear, you can do pvp and get the pvp gear since it is the same right now, you can get a BS to make you some gear, you can get a BS or Eng to upgrade teh gear you have, you can be a BS yourself for better gear, you can send out followers on high level missions for high level gear, Normal drop ilevel(shadowmoon burial grounds, grimrail depot, everbloom, and UBRS) all drop 615 in normal, and you can craft ilevel 630 gear with BS level 2 at your garrison without blacksmithing.

You have no reason to be whining about not getting a high enough item level. There are plenty of ways to get past 610 even without running normals. Considering in BC/Wrath/Cata/MoP, it took a week to 2 weeks for me to see gear for my ele shaman drop to get me to a decent gear set for heroics in later expansions and raids in BC. From what I see in your comment, you have been playing for 3-4 days. The expansion has been out 3-4 days. You paid for a game to level to max really fast and then whine b/c you arent getting what you want right now. Look, I know this game has become extremely casual. But you need to either go play a single player PC/console game and quit wow or have fun playing a good expansion. There is so much to do and you still have a week or two till raids start getting busy since there are still a lot of people that havent hit max.

It is personal loot. It doesnt work like you think it does. If you win the invisible roll, It will choose something out of the boss' loot table of your spec. I think it is pretty fair when dealing with some of the idiots in LFD/LFR.

Personal loot is MUCH better.
Done a TON of bosses where 4-5 pieces drop of a single boss.
This makes it all worth it, no matter the yield of other bosses.

Its obviously not a joke, grow up.
You would have gotten less or the same in the previous system anyway.

Even more embarrassing is your lack of knowledge into gearing.
You don't do dungeons to get 610.
Do all the quests in Nagrand and kill as many rares there as you can.
I was 615 before even entering a dungeon.

Buy a 620 honor piece if you have some as well.
Same you paid for 2 months as well and didn't take 5 minutes to read up on the expansion before it launched.

Say hello to the loot system that got introduced due to random usually elitist scumbags thinking they need everything even if they dont. That is why you cant have what you view as good things. The loot system is working as intended since so far with it not a single item have been ninja stolen by those scumbags.

Good job blizzard to make sure we put those in place.

Considering everyone needs gear and you'd most likely be rolling against people, you'd probably have the same rate of actually getting a piece of loot with normal group loot.
Also loot isn't a acronym no need to capitalise it.

1 DROP in 5 dungeons is pretty damn shitty, compared to group loot which averages out to 1 item per 5 bosses if all armor classes are covered.
Add the fact that personal loot seems to be completely broken, giving "loot spec appropriate items" like agility gear for dks, bonus armor for priests etc
