Would you mind telling me: Why 330 haste? I still haven't looked too much into Glad so that's why I'm asking.
I'm going with Crit/MA and BA/Crit or BA/MA on most of my items so far.

"You're going to need about 330 Haste before you start collecting other stats so that you can fit an extra GCD into your 7 Second Shield Charges."

    My bad then
Still if you only have 1-2 pieces with Crit+Multi I would go for Crit+Mastery instead seeing how the weights between Multistrike and Mastery are minimal.
I reckon that high Mastery values are worth more then low Multistrike values

I can't post a link because of lack of posts, but there is another trinket that offers static Bonus Armor, as well as Multistrike. It's called Toria's Unseeing Eye and it drops from Roltall in heroic Slag Mines.

    Stats are:

    +159 Bonus Armor
    +159 Multistrike

It's a trinket you would consider, however, Mote of Corruption gives more AP overall since 159 Str = 159AP aswell as 159 Mastery (1.45%) = 8% increased AP and therefore Mote actually gives you 172AP.

And if you replace Solar Containment Unit you'll lose the haste cap.

You can replace Solar Containment Unit with it but then you'll have to replace other pieces in your gear aswell in order to get that 330 haste cap

Ah yeah, I always seem to forget that mastery gives the % of AP. Right now I'm just focused on getting drops...the personal loot system seems to hate me at the moment. At the time I got the achieve for completing all 8 heroics, I'd gotten a total of two drops. It's gotten a little better since, but I'm still getting a ton of pieces that aren't upgrades. It's really frustrating, considering I'm trying to be geared in most of the items on this list by Dec 2.

So I should be looking to get Bonus Armor? Damn, I tought I was going to be able to use my fury gear. What should I mark when doing dungeons to get this kind of gear, protection?

Yes, Bonus Armor is our primary stat, you can play with your fury gear but it will be a huge DPS loss
Protection specialization is the way to go if you want all the pieces (especially the shield, obviously)

I just mapped this list out...9 pieces in Auchindoun. Looks like I'll be having some fun in there in the near future.

Hmm, I will use my Goldsteel helm over that crit+mastery one, because it actually gives 111 to crit and versatility (opposed to that 90 crit on that mastery one). I feel that crit+versatility seems to work quite well on gladiator stance anyway, since the +20% damage on the stance is calculated after the versatility. I mean you get more melee damage multiplier, as in with 5% versatility it would be 105% on prot, but something like 127% on gladiator.

I still don't know where people get that mastery>versatility. All sims I have done (my character, T17 mythic/BiS/HC preconfigs, single target, cleave, AoE) have shown versatility>mastery, and haste being better than both for single target, even way past 330 rating.

Could anyone please explain this? I tried with both 4,32%(432) and 0% haste and I can still fit only 5 gcds in my shield charge... Propably I am wrong, but I cant figure out why.
It would be nice if someone could just test it on dummy and tell us.

It is so you can get two shield slams in a charge.

Well.. you can get 2 slams in one charge as it has 6s cd with 0% haste.. But you propably say that you need 3,3% haste to get 2 slams in one shield charge while using other abilities and don't have to wait for slam to come up... if this is correct then I have 2 other doubts. You would need really good timing to get this done at first and there is still Shield slam reset from using devastate at second. And it's the possibility of reseting Shield slam makes whole haste cap pointless for me...
I need more detailed answer to prove me that I am dumb as *** because I still don't get the point of this all.
I am not even talking about PvP where is no chance of using 5 abilities in a row because of stuns/moving targets etc...

Just a quick question: raiding in gladiator means i have to set my loot preference to "Protection" so i can get the warrior set bonus benefits or can i still go in raids with loot preference to fury or arms?

Mastery scales higher then Vers and therefore you gain more %'s by Mastery. I have seen ingame that my damage output gets slightly higher using versatility pieces but I assume that once you have all Mastery/Crit pieces you will gain more off that then you would using Mastery/Vers pieces (due to the higher scaling).

I am currently on 319 haste (just below the cap) and the CD of my Slam is 5.82 so basically this means that I can get in another Slam just before my Shield Charge wears off.

Your rotation while Shield Charge is active should look something similar to:
Shield Charge + Shield Slam (You can press these at the same time) > Heroic Strike + Revenge (press these together) > Heroic Strike + Tier 4 Filler (press these together) > Heroic Strike + Devastate (press these together) > Shield Slam

Since HS is off the Global CD you can press it together with other abilities.
Note: Make sure that you press the rage regenating abilities just somewhat earlier then the HS, or else you might not have enough rage to spend.

That is how you fit both off the slams, sorry if I did not answer your question correctly

It's only really on bosses that either drops bonus armor rings, necks, cloaks, trinkets or 1h + shield that this would matter.
So yes, you can have your loot specialization to arms and fury and get what you need but on bosses such as the Twin Ogron (for example) you want to set it to protection in order to get your shield.
