    Trinket Ratings - WW

    Hi,

    What trinkets are looking like the BiS at the moment from Heroic Dungeons/PVP or from the auction house.

  2. #2
    One that comes to mind is the Agi + on use multistrike from UBRS. Seems pretty potent.

    Not sure how "good" the DMF Trinket it

  3. #3
    From heroic dungeons. The one from the first boss in Everbloom and the first boss in UBRS. One's on use multistrike, and the other is proc'd haste for a little more regen which is really great.

  4. #4
    Im running with Asc/ChiEx and really liking the two mentioned. The haste proc really helps with our lower haste levels and proccing at the start of the fight gives us some more burst.

    The Agi/On use MS is really nice for syncing with TEB and FoF. I macro mine to TEB.

    Curious how the PvP trinket and alchemy trinkets rate.

    I have asked this question in a couple threads now with no response. I am really curious as to whether it's worth it to save up cards for this trinket.

    the synergy it has with Gor'ashans(static agi/on use mastery) Is unreal. I def recommend getting it if you can pick it up for around 50k.

    Even with the base agi on both of those being nerfed?

    I'm assuming you mean Multistrike since mastery is our worst stat. And thank you for actually responding. I'm a scribe so I will continue to save my war cards for this trinket then.

    yes sorry, multistrike is what i meant.

    There is also the trinket token available from garrison missions.

    I wonder how does that fare, especially if it is possible to get a 630 or 645 version of it.

    Turbulent Vial of Toxin seems like an incredibly powerful trinket with Serenity, as they share the same CD, so you can combine them and spam spenders with high mastery for additional tigereye brew stacks.
    However, you only seem to be able to get it through a Garrison follower mission that gives you a 630 item that converts into a trinket based on your spec.

    Not sure though, because Mastery is our worst stat, but it seems potent in combination with Serenity.

    UBRS trinket share cooldown with serenity and the proc is ms

    proly that and the auchindoun(agi + crit) are the best from heroic dungeons

    Also the trinket from Everbloom's first boss (Agi + haste proc) is fairly decent.

    I'm using these two at the moment and haven't seen any better trinkets aside from maybe the DMF trinket.
    Pajeet-Nov's Perpetual Puzzle
    Gor'ashan's Lodestone Spike

    If they don't buff it to 645, considering the actual proc (chance to gain 1396 critical strike for 20 sec. 15% chance, 115 sec cooldown), using the scale factors from simc (single target, serenity) it is a bit worst than few different 630 heroic trinkets.

    Blood Seal of Azzakel (630) has 159 Agi + 159 Crit vs 117 Agi from the Skull of War (DMF) and 242sh~ crit (1396*20 sec uptime / 115 sec internal cd).

    Blood Seal of Azzakel wins and it is not even the best one ..

    What about if they go with the changes so it would be

    640 - 655 - 670 with upgrades?

    Depends a bit on your talent choice (especially the level 100 talent, because right now sims suggest that Ascension is way beyond ChiBrew). The MS trinket that dropps from the first boss in UBRS is a must, no matter what your talents are
    If you're going with ChiEx than the Agi+Haste Trinket from the first boss in Everbloom is your best bet. With a Serenity build, you'll want either the Crit-Trinket from Azzakel in Auchindoun, or the Versatility trinket that drops from the second boss in Grimrail Depot (Sims are unclear whether Crit or Vers is better...most suggest Vers > Crit though)

    Now I am curious what are the ultimate trinket weights for pre raids. Every upgrade level of Inscription glyphs and LDSC included.

    I got myself this from a mission.

    Just wondering what would be absolutely best option to pair it with. Regardless of costs.

    Well,
    I’ve made some deep testing using simcraft to obtain the scaling factors.

    Depending on the fight one stat could be a bit more valuable than another but what comes to be very clear is that mastery is our worst stat by far, while any other one result to be quite close to each other.

    Since the first simulations I've changed the profiled I'm using to get as close as possible on what should be the most common scenario. Over a month ago I was running sims using a kind of 630 BiS gear, while now it sounds more reasonable to use a 670 BiS set with Highmaul loot and a couple of world drops.

    So here is the profile used for the new simulations:
    http://www.wowhead.com/list=5305010/...el-670#1-items

    Code:
    head=torias_perseverance,id=118894
    neck=reavers_nose_ring,id=113851,bonus_id=566,enchant_id=5320
    shoulders=deep_walker_paulders,id=113661,bonus_id=566
    back=cloak_of_creeping_necrosis,id=113657,bonus_id=566,enchant_id=5313
    chest=chestguard_of_the_roaring_crowd,id=113601,bonus_id=566
    wrists=bracers_of_spare_skin,id=113634,bonus_id=566
    hands=treacherous_palms,id=113832,bonus_id=566
    waist=waistgirdle_of_the_mountain,id=118886
    legs=nether_blast_leggings,id=113856,bonus_id=566
    feet=mountainwalkers_boots,id=113649,bonus_id=566
    finger1=spellsink_signet,id=113843,bonus_id=566,enchant_id=5327
    finger2=timeless_solium_band_of_the_assassin,id=118297,enchant_id=5327
    trinket1=captive_microaberration,id=113853,bonus_id=566
    trinket2=scales_of_doom,id=113612,bonus_id=566
    main_hand=the_bladefist,id=113591,bonus_id=566,enchant_id=5334
    off_hand=the_bladefist,id=113591,bonus_id=566,enchant_id=5334

    All the Sims are done with the following options: Player Skill = good, World lag = 50ms, iterations = 100000, Length = 280-420 sec

    Sim1:
    Patchwerk, Num Enemies = 1, talents=0130023 (brew, xuen, serenity)

    Sim2:
    Helter Skelter, Num en=4, talents=1323322 (chiburst, serenity, xuen, chiex)

    Sim3:
    Light Movement, Num en=6, talents=1323312 (chiburst, serenity, rjw, chiex)

    Here are the results:

    Normalizing the results on agility = 1 and giving the following weight factors:

    Sim1: weight 50%
    Sim2: weight 30%
    Sim3: weight 20%

    The resulting factors are :

    So basically while multistrike is the best stat for single fight, haste comes slightly ahead because of its weight on ChiEx encounters. Others still quite close with the exception on mastery which is horribad.

    While reading the above information, please keep in mind that simulationcraft doesn't support SEF on encounters yet, few thing may result different once it will be implemented.

    Sims are sims and using your brain is always a good choice while reading data and results.
