    Office computer build

Hello guys! I'm building an office computer for my mother's business as her current one is pretty dated. She does not require a high performance computer at all. The budget is 300, but i'd like to include a ssd. I'm only familiar with computer parts geared towards gamers so anyone's input on these parts is much appreciated!

    Budget: $300 USD
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc): none
    Country: US
Parts that can be reused: monitor and peripherals
Do you need an OS?: no

Besides the 250gb Mx100 ssd, I'm not sure of the necessary parts to make a potent office computer for this budget. Thanks!

Pretty sure you are going to want the storage space as those documents and files build up pretty damn quick though there is still room for a ~128GB SSD if you so desire.

What kinda programs is she gonna be running?

Thank you for this list! She will be running pretty minimal software such as QuickBook's Point of Sale, Microsoft Office. Is 4gb of ram sufficient, or would you recommend fitting 8gb of ram into the budget?

You can always throw in another 4GB stick or get a 2x4GB kit like this one here for $57. Although 4GB should be plenty, 8GB is well within your budget and would give you more ram to play around with.

And with those kind of programs I would just stick with the HDD for the extra space it will give her to store all her crap that she will end up with from regular use.

    edit:
Heck you could bump it up to quad-core and have the 8GB of memory and still be under $300($308 before the $30 in rebates).
