Revealed: 2,500 new documents in IRS / W.H. harassment cases

In a shocking revelation, the Treasury Inspector General has identified some 2,500 documents that “potentially” show taxpayer information held by the Internal Revenue Service being shared with President Obama’s White House.

The discovery was revealed to the group Cause of Action, which has sued for access to any of the documents. It charges that the IRS and White House have harassed taxpayers.

In an email from the Justice Department’s tax office, an official revealed the high number of documents, suggesting that the White House was hip deep in probes of taxpayers, likely including conservatives and Tea Party groups associated with the IRS scandal.

we all remember how Harry Reid on the senate floor claimed "according to a reliable source" Romney did not pay taxes for the last 10 years. well looks like we might have found out who that source could possibly be the IRS its self

oh and by the way they happened to find the lost Lois Lerner emails. this is far from over that many of you wish would go away. it is just getting more interesting. cant wait to see what is in those missing emails that the IRS and Lerner was so concerned with that they not reach the publics eyes

it is such a predictable pattern with most of you. you jump into a thread read something you don't like and first thing you will do instead of debating the content of what was presented you go straight after the person who presented it

Taking bets on how long this thread will last because of people acting like children and side-tracking a thread into a discussion about Endus' moderation, thus creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

On topic: The only thing I'm taking away from this is that the people who thought that these emails wouldn't be found don't know much about computers. I can't really say I've paid much attention to this particular scandal but I feel that if there is evidence of wrongdoing highlighted by IRS scrutiny then it should still be acted on, regardless of whether or not the person running the show had a political bias.
