[Resto] Weapon question.

I just recently got Thunderlord Flamestaff from heroic Grimrail Depot. And I'm wondering if it would be better to go with this + a haste gem, or keep my current weapons?(My current weapons are Dagger of the Sanguine Emeralds + Interloper's Mossy Skull) It just makes me sad, losing all of that mastery. But I'm wondering if it would be better to keep the staff with the socket, despite it having a less than optimal stat?

The staff is stronger. Your secondary stats are so close that in almost all situations, getting more stat points will be more beneficial.

Edit: I should probably mention that you don't want to throw away the two other items, as they are stronger for Challenge Mode dungeons
