War or pally tank

Been war tank since WoD, how are pallies doing ?

I played a warrior to 90 in MoP, just got my Pally to 100. The PG silver was a nightmare because there's not many active cooldowns like shield block, there's 3min CD's, a 30sec magic reduce, your shield of the righteous passive, sacred shield and word of glory.
Obviously you have your big cooldowns, but I just don't feel they have as much active mitigation as others, always pressing buttons to block and reduce damage. Doesn't feel like I'm doing anything to help out my healers!
