I use to smoke, when I quit I chewed gum like there was no tomorrow. Then, I realized it gave me gas like a freshly fracked well. Nothing like holding back ripping ass during a 2 hour make out session to make you reevaluate your life's choices.

During my first deployment, we were under nourished, and pulling really really long hours for the majority of it. So while on guard, you would be struggling to stay awake, and a lot of guys started dipping, but I just chewed gum, and some nights would chew so much my jaw would hurt for days on end.
Ever since then I haven't touched gum since coming home.

Well, I could say the exact same about alcohol, cigarettes, coffee etc. But in the end, wanting something gone purely so that others can't enjoy it isn't really a good attitude.
