Anyone have any understanding of the Game Key market?

So I've been using this website recently, which has given me many great deals. However the prices are so volatile and I have no idea how they can afford these prices.

For example, PC Shadow of Mordor is available for about $24, Titanfall is about $17.

Great deals, but you'll also notice the "original prices" are listed at a ridiculous $63 and $75 respectively. (I suspect those are just inflated prices to make the discount appear more significant.)

Are there some kind of illegal tactics behind this? Personally I've had nothing but great and fast customer service with them, despite them obviously using google translate in their correspondence.

Most aren't illegal, some independent sellers on their sites might be.

Mostly it's just them buying the codes up at cost and selling for tiny margins, or sourcing them from cheaper markets that still sell global keys.

Careful with linking that, it's a gold selling site too.

Buy a key for example in Russia for a lower price and sell that key to west europe or us users.

Since when is Titanfall a great deal for $17.00 when it's sold on Origin for $9.99

It was also $5.00 last 2-3 weeks.

I just bought Shadows of Mordor for $20 on PS4 during a Cyber Monday sale. Chances are sales are still going on.
