Fast food in order of how unhealthy it is?

1 being the worst 5 being the 'best' personally I'd say 1. McD 2. Taco Bell 3. KFC 4. Pizza express 5. Subway, That's just what I personally think from what I've ate and what I've heard about the places above, so if my anybody could give facts it would be good to see

People don't eat fast food for health reasons.

You can eat healthy at McDonalds and you can eat unhealthy at Subway, just depends on what you buy. McDonalds just gets bad press because they are a huge company and a target for those who hate large corporations.

All of the major fast food outlets have detailed nutrition sheets on their website. Just look at it and you can draw your own conclusions.

Nearly all major fast food outlets will have (relatively) healthy options available for those that want them.

No fast food is unhealthy when eaten with moderation.

One time a month at either of those places won't do you any bad.

Just be aware that there is no such thing as a healthy Pizza.

No less healthy than a cheese sandwich if you don't go to one of those take-aways that practically fry it (Pizza Hut, Dominoes et al).

I have contempt for him. All he managed to demonstrate is that consuming a staggering amount of calories results in weight gain. Anyone that doesn't already know that is a fucking moron.

Depends how you're defining "healthy". Pizza's inherently calorie dense, but it can also be jam-packed full o' nutrients, and not everyone's trying to avoid eating large amounts of calories. I got up yesterday, ate a granola bar, then ran 14 miles. Pizza's a pretty decent way to replenish.

You can buy 24+ fluid ounces of high fructose corn syrup infused shit pretty much everywhere. That stuff will fuck your body up at least as bad as the worst "food" on the menu at McDonald's.

Define unhealthy, then. Cheese, bread, tomatoes, salt and olive oil aren't exactly unhealthy. Eating in excess on the other hand is. If anything, fresh pizza is a great source of protein, fiber and various vitamins when eaten in moderation.

It's far better to talk about specific menu items rather than a whole chain.

For instance, I could eat a salad at McDonalds and then head over to Subway and get a meatball sub with double cheese. That's going to throw off your rankings quite a bit.

Plus, there are 10000000 varieties of greasy burger joints that are likely to, as a whole, be more unhealthy before you get anywhere near the subway style restaurants.

Remember, the worst stuff on their menus are the carb heavy things.

Sorry you actually have it nearly ass backwards.

Pizza and subway are really bad for you. Eating bread is almost biologically identical a behavior as sitting there eating spoonfuls upon spoonfuls of sugar.

I'm struggling with the framework of this question because restaurants have a wide variety. Subway can turn any sandwich into a salad, for instance. They also have soup and flatbreads and other types of bread than your overly processed white wonderbread variety.

Where as McDonalds has things like chicken nuggets and wraps, but also probably some of the most "spoonful of sugar" bread in their buns. And if you get a regular burger the bun to other stuff ratio isn't great.

Yeah I usually just order a bag of like 10 $1 cheeseburgers.

    I'm set for the day.

It really depends on the bread though.
    Something like this: http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/white...d-23073157.jpg
does indeed have a really high concentration of easily digestable sugars.
On the other hand, bread like this: http://www.madforlivet.com/images/op...dhedsbroed.jpg
does have alot of fibers (cellulose), proteins and vitamins.

I'm not sure it qualifies as "fast food" but Starbucks should really be on this list.
