Butcher is a pure gear check. It's Patchwerk of WoD.
They just need more gear to dps him harder. The fact they can't get the dps high enough is the only reason he isn't dying. It's not the mechanics.

Every single tier, moronic posts like this show up. Do you have no memory of previous raid tiers when a new one launches? What about Siege when guilds killed 8 or 9 bosses before EU severs were even up? Remember that?

It's also a healer check, sub-30% is a nightmare to heal.

The only reason a 'few select' people have killed it is because the entire of EU still can't access Mythic.

Though personally, I think US should get a two day head start

I watched this stream and these guys banged their heads against the wall for hours to kill twins. Maybe 10 wipes at 80% because the priest healer who was streaming took every single fire wall, whirlwind and arcane dot explosion (can't remember the name) to the face.
Failing heroic mechanics and his movement/awareness was very poor, as were most of the group. The leader threatened to bench several repeat offenders.
The priest (Vyroxx i think his name was) was prioritizing penancing the bosses, who seem to have no obvious enrage timers, over dps raiders at 10% hp who would often then die from lack of direct healing. I then watched him penance a tank who was tanking the whirlwind boss to the side, who was at 80% hp, popped wall and was in no danger of dying. Vyroxx hadn't positioned himself so that he could heal anyone but the tank so the entire raid effectively lost a healer for the entire duration of whirlwind. When 1 dps came into his range at sub 10% hp, he was busy spam healing himself with flash heal because he was stood in the whirlwind and the dps got no heals for about 6 seconds. This happened every single pull.

World/US 4th because they were able to get an early raid up. If these guys can kill 2/7 mythic on the first day then anyone can.

They've already raided far more hours in Mythic than most do in a week.

He may have been baiting the charge, on mythic beta testing we were experimenting leaving one person outside the group that can force the charge to be on him. Who better than a healer who can keep himself and the tank 40 yards away up?

He 100% was not baiting the charge. They weren't even aware they could bait it from what we saw. 15 players got hit by one on their first few pulls. His camera was zoomed out so far, that it was clipping the walls of the instance and while he was stood out with the tank he had a birds eye view and was very very lucky that he managed to avoid the charge on several occasions.
When the arcane charges were happening, he pretty much stopped healing altogether to look for them and position himself.

There were a lot of mistakes yesterday. After raiding for hours and hours lots of people lose some awareness. I say fights are tough because the amount of coordination on top of gear checks makes it seems like this tier it going to be harder then previous ones we've seen in a long time.

Don't know if you are "allowed" to answer this question but here it goes...

What spec are you using in mythic? Aff in that video makes sense due to the intense moving. Are you Destro for most other bosses or are you finding aff is starting to outscale the other 2 specs this early?

I find affliction way more fun then destro so I lean towards that spec a lot. Unfortunately destro is just a lot better on certain fights (imperator being one) so I would need to play it on that. As far as demo goes.... it's not very good atm.

As for the scaling affliction will be better then the other 3 by the end of highmaul.
