    Shield barrier scales purely from your attack power, then a multiplier is added on top of everything from resolve. More strength = better barrier. More mastery = better barrier (It increases attack power). More crit / haste = more rage = more barriers / higher rage barriers. Vers/MS = no impact with barrier, but has their own mechanics to reduce damage or recover from it.

    I'm not saying its a good ability, but I still use it. Health bars don't spike anymore from damage or heals, including absorbs. Just have to deal with it.

    reflect, interrupt, stun... you can still get gold.

    too bad those things don't work in raids.

    Not a fan of it at this point.

    I think the main reason is I'm still stuck in BC/Wrath tanking where I am constantly dumping rage for more threat/dps.

    On butcher normal kept getting wrecked far earlier than the DK I tank with and I think the reason why would be lack of barriers between blocks. At the same time I'm pretty disappointed with how inactive our active mitigation is. I'd much prefer something where heroic strikes put up an absorb shield or if our shield block produced a barrier based on the amount blocked.
