    Reworking DK Talents

    I am going to be posting on the WOW DK Forums about the state of DK talents, while I believe there is a 0.0001% chance anything will get changed.. I have time to kill at work. Hoping to get some ideas from all other DKS as to how our talents should be reworked. Keeping us balanced is of course one of the primary goals, while making our class feel fun to play.

    Tier 1

    Afterlife (placeholder)

    Slows enemies and allies including DK within 10 yards by 90%, does not affect GCD and effect cannot be cancelled.

    (so the point of this is, it would make it near impossible for the kill target to runaway from you.. this if course can be countered with defensives so to not be overpowered)


    Get Over Here (placeholder)

    Death grip now has 2 charges on a 1.5 min recharge timer.


    Death's Advance

    Increases speed by 80% for 5 seconds, does not break cc.



    Tier 2


    Lichborne

    Draw upon unholy energy to increase Leech by 10%, and make you immune to Charm, Fear, and Sleep for 10 sec. Dk can still Death Coil himself to heal.


    Death Pact

    Heals the Death Knight for 60% of max health, and cancels Pillar of Frost, Dark Transformation and Bone Shield.


    Conversion

    Passively heals the death knight for 3% of maximum health every 1 second below 35% health while 50 or more Runic Power is available.



    Tier 3

    really awful, just focused on pvp.

    Dk:s dont need to fix pvp, they need fixed pve OFFENSIVE talents.

    pvp they are more than fine. however last tier of talents needs a rework to get some offesive power be it passive or rotation use or CD based abilitiy.

    Deifle lazy as hell BoS whoever came up with this idea gotta been drunk, both cd wise and the cost of it and that it uses runic power.

    necrotic plague, dont work for any spec besides UH and even then its bad.

    other 3 is cc based and pvp based like all of our godamn talents.

    could just rename the talent tree to, Player versus player tree.

    There is no DK that plays both pve and pvp that do not agree on this.

    Also KM need to get reworked.

    Instead of crit KM increases the damage of all your abilities. Less for obliterate than Frost strike to make dw more viable.


    Change mastery so it increases Might of frozen wastes effect.

    Reason is Froststrike is bad for 2h, and goood for dw.

    wich makes the class itself having a split duel with itself.

    fixing these things would also need to balance out numbers so earliest we would see this is after this Xpac sadly.
