    Windows Storage Spaces Offline

I need to find out how to make windows stop taking my storage space offline.

Here is the status of the storage space after bringing it back online.

The trouble is that I'm trying to copy probably 6TB over to it, so that I can add another 3 drives to the pool and the pool going offline halfway through the copy is really messing up this process.

No idea, but thinking about upgrading my home server and thinking about getting Window Server instead of FreeBBSD to host ASP.NET applications and MS SQL Server.

How is performance? Do you get atleast 100 megabyte/s write speeds?
My nickname is "LDEV", not "idev". (both font clarification and ez bait)

yall im smh @ ur simplified english

Not sure why you would want to use MS SQL out of choice... but there you go.

    Performance is subjective...

    For "real time file copies":
To / from SSD over the gigabit network I get 110-120Mbps transfer speeds.
Normally to / from the HDD's over the gigabit network I get 30 - 40Mbps
As reported by the Windows 8.1 File Transfer dialog.

My HDD's are in a Software RAID 5 (storage spaces with parity) with data deduplication enabled spread over 3 different SATA controllers. This all contributes to slowing down the flow of data.
