Someone saving my life, or me saving their life is not a sudden invitation to sex. I wouldn't feel that whether I was saving or being saved, that I'd be obligated to have sex with that person ...

I don't think this is a very typical plot though. It's usually about the protagonist being a virgin loser who can't get the girl, who saves her heroically and that heroic deed completely changes her view of him, which makes her want to have sex with him...
