Oldest trick in the book to climb the ratings in any MOBA or MMR matched system.

That is assuming you yourself ain't bad as well, though. And idk if you are good or not.

find someone who wants to achieve the same as you and do it together, shouldnt be all too difficult in a game with a playerbase like wow.
surely in about 10 years (assuming you started right away) you would have made a few friends or met People in guilds who can accompany you on this Task.

Yeah, whenever there is an ad for a pvp guild or pug rbg they ask for a 2k rating. It's not possible if you're a new player unless you sleep with the guild leader.

No one wants to PVP with me because I haven't gotten over 2k rating. I haven't been able to get 2k rating because no one will invite me. Age old argument - need experience to get a job, can't get experience without a job. It's ridiculous. I've almost completely given up. I have high rating achievements from TBC, but apparently it doesn't mean squat.

Idunno. Find any likeminded player anywhere and get that coveted 2k with him/her. It's like jobhunting, shit sucks before you get some experience to show on paper. I understand where you're coming from, but in your case you need to spam look for someone you can build a lasting "relationship" with.

There's no other way tbh. Unlesss you sleep with the guild master, yes.

I know what you mean, and the worst part is that majority of the people asking for these achievements have simply been boosted, especially for RBGS.

Hey grimbeorn, I'm in a pretty similar situation as you. Haven't played since wotlk, so I don't have any Rbg achievments, and only have 1750 arena achieve in 2s, 3s and 5s. But I'd also be interested in finding more like minded, level headed, good players.
