    New Pc - Need advice

Looking to get a new Pc build but a bit clueless at what specifications I would need, I don't mind paying a bit extra if its required but don't want to end up paying for high end parts that I won't actually need.
Any help is welcomed and appreciated

    Budget
My maximum budget is £1000 but would prefer around £800 if there's no need to go higher for what I want it to do.

    Games / Settings Desired
Dawn of War Retribution - Would like to be able it handle these sorts of games on max settings
    Dragon Age Inquisition

Any other intensive software or special things you do?
This is where my curret PC is struggling. I do quite a lot of work at home, working with spreadsheets, often 10-15 at time. Running formulas on them is just leaching it down to a snail pace.

    Country - UK

Do you need an OS? Yes

Can bump the GPU if you want something a little beefier and more lasting power but it's not necessary:

Asus AMD Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II OC £215 (also supports a few extra features via new AMD drivers)
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 £269 (would also handle 2560x1440 should you go for that some time)

Sounds good, don't hesitate to ask if you have any additional questions or concerns.
