Strictly speaking, there is a level of details and color accuracy beyond which our eye cannot tell the difference. As soon as pixels become so small that the photons from each separate one don't form the necessary flow density for us to detect it, it will look exactly the same to us as real life. Practically, however, it might be impossible to achieve, since we probably will have to deal with dimensions comparable to electron's wavelength, and quantum mechanical effects might prohibit us from going that far. And even if it is achievable theoretically, it will probably take billions of years to get to that level of technology.
Graphics will improve until all of this clipping will disappear.
Simulation will stop when particles can be manipulated to match reality.
At which point, there is just reality.
