This is one of my favorite games of all time. I long for a modern sequel which continues the gameplay mechanics of PE1.

I'd have to post the Stranger from The Walking Dead season 1 as an honorable mention, rarely do I hate a negative character that badly.

1) Ganondorf, Zelda Ocarina of time. I loved how he was portrayed in this game more then other zelda. I miss my long nose green skin ginger from old time. His evil laugh is still something i remember from my childhood.




2) Bob Page, not exactly a villain since your own character has the option to take the exact same path he does after killing him. Unlike most bosses you arent directly killing him either, you infact never fight him, but all of your choice will kill him due to the nature of his position.

1: Tied between Arthas and Lei Shen from the Warcraft universe
2: Gul'dan from the Warcraft universe
3: Dagoth Ur from The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

Rubicante from Final Fantasy IV. He spanks Edge's ass but doesn't finish him off, instead delivering a "come back when you get stronger" line. Then, when you encounter him in his tower, he heals your party to full before you fight him, because he wants to earn his victory and not do a half-assed job of crushing a tired party that just slugged its way through a tower.

It's true that those actions probably led to his demise, but I really liked his personality. He was certainly a bad guy but had this twisted sense of honor, and I liked that.



Also: Mileena from Mortal Kombat. Not just because of her sex appeal (minus the face, of course), but I like her personality, especially in MK9. She does the "crazy chick" thing very well. I'm hoping she'll be a playable character in MKX and "mature" a bit, ie, be more like the clever/scheming bitch she was in Armageddon.
