It's an appealing option if you live out more rurally. Just like some folks unfortunately have to use satellite internet. Sat net is obviously something to be avoided because of cost, usage caps, and latency, but satellite tv works just fine. Using a DSL and sat tv here since DSLs available, but yeah, if you lived in the city, probably better off bundling cable internet and tv

It seems to be a contract dispute and not an attempt by dish to censor. They know people love Fox News and they're trying to make it so you have to pay for an expensive package to be able to watch fox news / fox business. Similar thing happened with siriusXM a while ago but fox is still on there too.

I don't watch the news. I get most my news from here, I've already said this numerous times. Off topic is pretty good at keeping up to date with most recent news.
