I didn't ignore that. I agreed that Nintendo deserves criticism for that. It's a pretty bullshit thing to do and it's not even like when they released the expansion pack for the N64 where you could upgrade it with a smaller purchase (rather than buying a brand new N64).

FYI, I don't own a Nintendo console. Haven't owned one since the N64, and the only ones I do own are said N64 and an old Gameboy color. So I hardly count myself as a "blind supporter" considering they haven't seen any money from me in well over a decade : P

I don't understand how you resisted the Wii. The motion controls themselves were revolutionary... and that price. I believe it was $200 at launch

Haven't really bothered with consoles for many years, only picking up a PS3 a few years back when it was on deep sale.

Though I'm totally looking forward to getting a Wii U eventually. Partially because I think the tablet controller is the most interesting this this console generation (even if it's being woefully under-used) and partially because it will give me access to a whole generation of Wii games that I missed.

Frustration may be what you feel, but your actions have done nothing but bash Nintendo in this thread.

You started this because you got butt hurt that you couldn't find a Zelda game at a price point you wanted and bitched about how bad you thought Nintendo was as a company without understanding how economics work (supply and demand primarily).

Whether you made a point about the 3DS or not is irrelevant to this thread. Do some research and at least understand the basics of what you're talking about before starting a thread about it....

The controller is the best one of this generation. It is a great feeling to play mario kart online from bed.

Yeah. I'm just disappointed that Media Molecule showed more interesting touch pad integration (on the PS4 gamepad) with the PS4 version of Tearaway than anything I've seen out of Nintendo so far (outside of ZombieU, but that was Ubisoft) : /

but those expenses i mentioned also factor into the 60$ cost of the game.

Except we where comparing costs between physical and digital which has nothing to do with the production of the game itself, only the means it is distributed in. It helps to read the entire conversation before coming in mid way to correct someone.

Quality my ass; the reason why these games are still so expensive is because you can only play them on Nintendo.

Doesn't it stream from the Wii U? Or is the actual controller running the game? If so isn't that just like what playstation tv can do with the vita. Albeit a smaller screen.

It is ALOT faster and actually can also offer up mnu interfaces as an alternatie among other things..On top of that some people use it in place of a TV...So ya know you can say take your WiiU to the airport and play it there with the controller(The bastard who figured this out should get a medal).

Streams from the Wii U depending on how you use it.
Playstation TV isn't really like that. Playstation TV is essentially the Vita's hardware in a different form factor and an HDMI output. This allows people to play Vita games on the TV as opposed to having to sit around with your handheld.
It'd be more akin to playing with the Vita via Remote Play with PS4.

I don't know how it works for Wii U, but for Vita you can remote play via internet if you want. If you wanted you could set up phone Wi-Fi tether and play your PS4 stuff via Vita anywhere there's service. I don't have a PS4 to test it out though so /shrug.

Have game in WiiU start game from WiiU on tablet, thats how it works, pretty simple. It works well, I've played many titles [even wiiu VC titles] on tablet, it's awesome. I bought a WiiU when it launched, I do not regret the purchase at all. Donkey Kong, Mario games, VC, Smash Brothers lots of fun Really looking forward to Zelda WiiU and a Metroid entry if any, as well as the next mario party.

Back on topic though: No need to get butthurt on prices of games because you can't afford them. You are missing out on great games either way, whether you really can't afford them [most likely hence the bitching] or just don't want to. It doesn't take Nintendo bias to know that most of their titles go for a good price for a reason.

I'm still holding on to 3 copies of Final Fantasy VII sealed for the PC that I will sell someday. Yes I know you can get a rehash, but it's not a collector's item that is brand new like mine are. I have a Zelda Link to the Past still factory sealed that I bought off Amazon a few years ago for $120 that I will hold on to and sell in the distant future for the same reasons. I have unopened copies of Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword for the same reasons as well.

Great games fetch a fair price down the road, end of story, Nintendo or not.
