okay someone explain this to me....

mario kart 64 on amazon was 30$ 4 months ago. now its close to 60$ yes i realize it's out of stock and discontinued etc. but the fact was this was bundled with most n64's after 1998. so there are millions of these out there. i'm not upset just curious as to how these can command these kind of prices when pretty much everyone who had the system had mario kart 64. meanwhile vigilante 8 is still 6.19$.....i also understand the game is iconic but again it was a common game that a lot of people had. did most of them get burned or something that i'm not aware of? because if demand and supply is to be believed these shouldn't be going for more than 30$ tops.
r.i.p. alleria. 1997-2017. blizzard ruined alleria forever. blizz assassinated alleria's character and appearance.
i will never forgive you for this blizzard.

is it me or this post was made a few days ago too... hell ever seen old dos games? they're available on GOG and they go for quite a lot of money on amazon, look at deus ex or any pc classic on mint condition.
Cod has a new campaign, new weapons, new multiplayer levels every year. Zelda has been recycling the same weapons, villains, and dungeons since the 80's. Zelda recycles enough to make cod blush. The same weapons, villains, dungeons, and princess in every single Zelda for the most part. It's almost as cheesy as bowser vs Mario round 35

Cartridges and game systems break and get thrown out. Alot of games back then got lost. Just because it was bundled with the N64, and that the N64 sold millions doesn't in any way mean that there are still millions of Mario Kart 64s out there still. Of the few people who still have them, they are probably reluctant to sell it. Thus, supply is low.
