Just made an account to ask this question because I'm a bit confused over the matter.

When using starsurge, do I want to only gain Lunar Empowerment? Or should I be using it solar eclipse too? I really don't know : (

I'm very new to balance druid as well but just from that I would say it depends.

If you have 2-3 SS charges you should use it always as long as you know you can use the buff or if CA isn't coming up. But I would prioritize to use it with lunar.

Murre5 is pretty much right. It is a bigger dps to get empowerments lunar side, but ofcourse its a big loss to cap on charges. So if its only 1 target dump them in solar aswell, if its 2 targets you should be prioritizing starfall instead anyway.

I use as many (lunar and solar) as possible with out starving myself of empowerment.
