Shadow Comparison (Dat mind spike)

Hey guys so i'm looking over my logs and comparing them to a shadow priest in a friends guild. He has 50% more mind spikes than me but a ton more damage and i was wondering if you guys could help me understand why that is so i can better improve myself. I understand that there is quite a gear separation but there has to be room for me to improve myself. Most of the casts are close but those two were quite far apart

It would seem he is making full use of devouring plague ticks, hence insanity has more ticks, more damage etc.. Are you using default castbar? If so, it doesnt show you ticks, so its pretty much impossible to play optimaly. Also Shadowy Insight? No, my friend, no. Not with cop.

it was something i was trying out, just forgot to change it back, i should have ToF up there. Yeah i have default cast bar, is there one you'd suggest?
