This released recently on PC, along with the consoles. Pretty much what it says on the tin, it's the 2002 GCN Resident Evil "REmake" in glorious high-res, and both Jill and Chris can opt to use their RE5 appearances rather than the originals right out of the gate (you still unlock new clothes by completing the game, like always.) Probably the biggest gameplay change is that you can now opt to have the game use more normal controls instead of the old-school "tank style" controls. Makes dodging zombies a little easier, but doesn't really ruin the experience. Even if you choose to use old-school controls, you can still twitch the right-stick to execute a quick 180 turn.

PC has native support for resolutions up to full 1080p and can be set to be locked at 30 fps, 60 fps, or you can leave it unlocked ("variable.") KB+M controls are perfectly functional and work just fine, though a DirectInput-friendly gamepad is still probably the way to go. PC has full Steamworks integration and a handful of achievements, along with leaderboards if speedrunning is something you're interested in. No idea if it has the alternate gamemodes from the GCN original, but I'm assuming it does. Also includes an "extra easy" difficulty.

Definitely worth the $20 if you liked the 2002 original, or never got to play RE at all. It's a good port.
