About the guild:
Resurge is founded by a strongly motivated group of veteran US top players who are ready to establish a new breed of guild. While starting a new guild is a difficult task, especially on a server as competitive and busy as Illidan, we are confident in our ability to reach top US ranks once again and raise the bar for other competitive raiding guilds.

Our reason for creating Resurge was to promote a raiding environment where skill is both recognized and rewarded. The level of respect we give our raiders is a direct correlation to the amount of time and effort they put into their performance with us.

Raid times:

10 pm - 2 am, Tuesday - Thursday (Illidan server time, CST)

You are expected to be on at least 15 minutes before the start of raid.

Please note that raids may go longer for progression, but there will be no additional required raid days.


What we expect from you:

• An insatiable drive to be the best your class has to offer; never become so confident in your play that you stagnate.
• 100% attendance is expected. If you can’t make raid, you should know which reasons are acceptable when raiding with a high end guild.
• A clear vision of what you’re looking for from your Resurge family. One of the most effective ways to plan for success is to know how you define it, and so we expect that you come knowing what you want and how we can help you achieve it.
• An open sense of humor. We are a horribly politically incorrect group of people. Nothing we say is meant to be offensive, so please make sure you can cope with this atmosphere.
• Open communication. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about anything guild-related, always address the issue as soon as possible by contacting an officer.
• Having a raid-ready alt is not required, but highly recommended.

It is important to note that our trial period lasts for two (2) weeks. This is an unconventionally short trial period compared to most guilds, but we will be able to tell very early on if you are a right fit. With so little time to make yourself stand out while on trial, make it count.


What to expect from us:

• Loot council system
• Officers and raiders are given the same consideration on all pieces of loot; trials will never have priority over raiders.
• Merit-based. If you are performing at a high level consistently, there is a better chance you will get gear over a raider who is under performing.
  
• Raiding positions are not set in stone; if you think you can outperform a raider, we would love to have you join us.
• We take raiding seriously, and although we like to have fun, we expect the best from our raiders. When errors occur, they will be brought to attention. This does not mean we are calling people out, but raid issues need to be recognized and addressed before they can be fixed. If you are unable to take criticism and/or responsibility for your actions, this is not the guild for you.

Expectations in Resurge are a two way street. We expect the raider to be knowledgeable of the content we are progressing through and mastery of their respective class. Coming prepared and delivering on your part to the guild is a must in any high level progression guild. In regards to the the raider’s expectation of the guild, we understand that we as a group are expected to progress and deliver on the promises we have made.

This, again, is a high level raiding guild. We are very excited to have high caliber players on our roster. Although we come from different backgrounds, our goal is one and the same - to make a legacy for ourselves on Illidan.

While we understand that there are countless guilds on Illidan to choose from, we firmly believe that Resurge will prove itself to be a top competitor.
