Just some things to ask before the build I propose:
    1. Do you not need storage? You have no HDD or SSD selected in your build, but I added a SSD in my build if you do need it.
    2. Do you really need an i7/16GB RAM? They are not necessary for gaming. If you do more, like VERY frequent video editing (read every day) then yeah, they make sense, but otherwise it is money that is just thrown away.
    3. Are you going to SLI in the future? If not, the 750W is not necessary. The 620W Seasonic unit I put in is cheaper and still fully modular, and even then still would power SLI with the 970s.
    4. Do you have to have a BluRay drive? If not, leave it out. Again, money thrown away.
    5. Do you need wireless? If so, the wireless card I included is (if I am not mistaken) better.
    6. Are you stuck on that case? If not, the FD case I put in the build is a great alternative, and quite a bit cheaper.
    7. I switched out the fans to keep with the aesthetic. (and you really should have 2 in the front for intake/1 exhaust for positive pressure)

Ok, now that the questions were asked... Here ya go!

Hey! Thanks for the detailed reply, I greatly appreciate it.

    1. Good catch, I spaced that.
    2. I do no videoediting. It is mostly for gaming. Thanks for the suggestion!
    3. I do not forsee the need to SLI in the immediate future as the games I play are not that demanding. How relevant do you think the need for SLI will be in 3+ years?
    4. I do need to reduce the cost and it seems the blue ray drive would be one of the first things to go.
    5. Wireless is a must. What do you like about the wireless you linked?
    6. Good suggestion!
    7. Thank you! Could you expand on your 2 fan comment?

I'll be going through the parts you generously listed later this afternoon and will get back to you. Thank you so much!

As been said above don't you need an ssd/hdd? You don't need 16gb for gaming, 8gb is plenty.
This is what i would go for, which includes ssd/hdd (in case your forgot them) and o/s:
