    Starfall in 6.1

Can we do something about this change? Maybe we need to whine more since making it only hit something you dotted is pretty stupid change... nobody was complaining of starfall before, it was best spell in game, and now I have to spend minor glyph slot on it and I already have 3 I want, grace, travel and stars... don't want to give either one of those.

Using stars? not a real balance player

Some of us just can't stand the 10 year-old model.

In total seriousness though, i do agree with you. I suspect it was a change made because of new moonkins pulling all kinds of stuff by accident with starfall. Oh well, at least it's just a minor glyph now. If i had to give up a major glyph to get it's current effect back i'd be kind of sad.

EDIT: Damn, 5 people in a row quoted the first response lolol

While it sucks to have a sometimes mandatory glyph in the minor slot, they want you to actually have to choose which glyphs to use for different situations. Imagine if it was like this already, which glyph would you dismiss if you "had" to? Remove that one.

On the bright side, it's no longer a major glyph to make it only hit dotted targets, so it's a buff in regards to potential utility.

Is it, though? I'm having a hard enough time as is finding 3 majors that are actually worthwile. On the other hand i already have more minors i really want than i have room for.

Lol, did anyone used that glyph at all? I somehow cannot see reason to use it in WoD.

same.. SR major glyph is like the only thing i care about. CR people to 100%. don't really care, if they are dead, i'm not really interested in saving them anyway.

Really? Balance druid is one of the best classes to combat ress as you can do it to 100% and you are DPS so it doesn't matter if you stop for a bit.

i never once ressed someone in raid since there is always some healer with res anyway... maybe other people have different experience but for me that gylph is useless... barkskin, SR, moonwarding and dash are ok for major (SR only mandatory)... while minor travel, grace, stars and now starfall (mandatory starfall, grace on some fights, others for ease on eyes and speed)... so yea

You've never done mythic, have you? Some fights you can't afford to stop for even a second.

There has almost never been a situation where stopping for a global to res a person, usually a DPS, is an issue. If you're having problems pushing then spending 1 global to res a DPS is much more of a gain than finishing that one cast. Having a healer do it is usually better, but that's not a reason to delay the res.

In my guild we used to let rDruids BR first, but if anyone else is having a CD it's your god damn turn to BR. No excuse. Unless you have to stand in shit for it to do it or delay something important, you do it right away. There is always a second.

Just drop grace.. you can switch catform if its ever needed.

Butcher mythic is the only one where this is actually true.... Sure some fights its better for a healer to ress due to a lot of downtime... but the faster you can actually do it the less dps you lose... so stop talking bullshit, you are gonna lose more dps on that one guy being dead for 10 more seconds than you do spending that one global... 1.3 sec or so

Try to learn to read before failing to read and making a pointless statement.

I wrote that i don't care if a person dies or not, since you are on the druid section you should already realize that the glyph we talk about just makes the player ress with 100% health. and where my statement then states that i don't care if the person is 100% or not he shouldn't had died in first place. if he dies right after gain, well his bad not mine.

so ye screw that glyph. shaman's can ankh do they get full health? nope. so it's fine.
